It has been a very busy week in both my personal and work life. Last weekend, my daughter had her professional figure skating shows, Ice Chips Show of Champions. The show ran 2 times on Saturday and once on Sunday. This meant spending two whole day at the arena. That ate up my whole weekend.
Life at work has been superbusy. It seems like every went wrong this week and I have spent the whole week chasing issues and finding fixes. And because of this I have been falling behind my regular work.
On the bright side of things, I have continued with my green smoothie everyday for breakfast. Aside from this weekend, I have continued to stay on track with my eating. All of my meals have been Paleo so far. I have also managed to stay away from soda all week.
I’m feeling a bit rundown but I think that may be from all of the added hours of work this week. Needless to say, I have not started working out yet. So I am hoping to start working out on Monday after some much needed rest and relaxation. I am truly looking forward to some downtime this weekend.
So this confession is full of excuses as to why I have not been blogging or working out. I admit it, I’m not perfect. However, I promise to try harder on both fronts going forward.
